2020年11月27日下午15:30---16:00，在博理楼B103会议室，我院邀请(南开大学组合数学中心杨立波教授做学术报告，题目为Stanley’s conjectures on Stern’s poset。

杨立波教授是南开大学博士生导师，现任南开大学组合数学中心副主任。2004年毕业于南开大学，获博士学位；2011年入选教育部新世纪优秀人才；2015年获国家自然科学基金优秀青年基金项目资助。现为中文《数学进展》编委、中国数学会组合数学与图论专业委员会理事、中国工业与应用数学学会图论组合及应用专业委员会常务理事、中国运筹学会图论组合分会常务理事。主要从事组合数学方面的研究，在对称函数理论和单峰型理论方面取得多项重要成果，在《Trans.Amer. Math. Soc.》、《Intern.Math. Res. Notices》、《Proc. Amer. Math. Soc.》、《J. Combinatorial Theory Series, A》、《Adv. Appl. Math.》、《SIAM Discrete Math.》等数学期刊发表论文近 30 篇。

本次报告内容为：Analogous to theconstruction of Pascal’s triangle, Stanley introduced Stern’s triangle, whichnaturally encodes a poset structure, called Stern’s poset. Stanley further studiedthe following polynomials Ln(q) = 2 · (2 ∑n−1 k=1 bk(q) ) + b2n (q), n ≥ 1,where bn(q)’s appear as certain Eulerian polynomials associated to Stern’sposet. Stanley conjectured that Ln(q) has only real zeros and L4n+1(q) isdivisible by L2n(q). In this talk, I will show some interesting recurrencerelations satisfied by Ln(q) and then prove Stanley’s conjectures.。
